When my kids were little, we used to spend our summers in the pool. I was always taking pictures of them and I have thousands. But there were times when my camera would turn to the water instead. Shocking, I know. But I loved the ripples, the splashes, the reflections... Most of those pictures were taken with my very old iphone.
So last summer I decided to work on a new series Pool Party. Summer Rain was the first one I fell in love with. It is hard to explain how it brought me back to simpler days when all my kids wanted was a good swim and a popsicle.
I am still working on this series - my biggest issue is that I have been working with a few labs and I just can't get them to print how I would like. So for now they live online... and will hopefully make it to a frame on day.
