So... back in the day, I used to be an actress. Or I guess I tried to be one... Or maybe I was an actress hoping to be a working actress... I don't really know how to phrase it these days.

But long story short, I spent my 20s in acting classes, auditioning, working on sets and even in a casting office for a few years - all while trying to make my way in the film and tv world. I did manage to get a few recurring roles on some tv shows and a couple small movie parts. But eventually, I slowly segued out of it. It was never a conscious decision to stop but sometimes life just happens.

So it feels kind of like a full circle moment to have one of my pieces featured in a new HBO series called Rooster starring Steve Carell.

Truthfully, I thought it would be something that might be sort of kind of in the show, tucked in the back of a scene and only recognizable to me searching for it. But I was pleasantly surprised when it was featured right behind Steve Carell in his living room.

Super fun to see my work front and center.
